Express analysis
We review a defined area of finance or management: accounting, tax, cash flows, or coordination between departments. We identify issues and recommend improvements. A paid online project taking up to two weeks.

What our team does
agree the question, work area, review period, and scope
analyse data and review selected documents relevant to the agreed question
clarify questions with the responsible employees
describe identified issues, their causes, and possible solutions
prepare an analytical report, recommendations, and an action plan
Understand the issue and decide what to change
Express analysis reviews a defined area of work or a specific problem. Before starting, we agree the question, period, data volume, and expected deliverable.
When express analysis is useful
You want to check whether a particular area works properly, or you see a problem but do not know what needs to change. The review supports a decision within the agreed scope.
Examples of small projects
We select one area or question that can be reviewed within the agreed time.
- Review one year of statutory and tax accounting within agreed areas and a selected document sample.
- Review financial accounting, reporting, or cash flows to identify gaps.
- Examine coordination between departments to locate a bottleneck, delays, or unclear responsibilities.
Materials we may need
The exact list depends on the question. We request relevant information for the agreed period.
- Accounting and tax: trial balances, transaction exports, tax returns, and selected source documents.
- Finance: available profit and cash flow reports, bank statements, receivables and payables, and budgets.
- Processes: workflow diagrams, employee roles, procedures, and examples of tasks, approvals, or information handovers.
- If reports are unavailable, we discuss what the existing data can establish and where more information is needed.
How we work
All work is online. You upload documents to a virtual data room. We review them and contact the responsible employees to clarify questions. We then prepare the report and hold a meeting to discuss the findings.
What the analytical report contains
The report connects observations to specific actions. We identify questions that the available evidence cannot answer.
- The review scope and data supporting the conclusions.
- Identified issues, their causes, and consequences.
- Possible solutions and recommended priorities.
- An action plan and employee instructions where needed.
Timing, fees, and scope
Express analysis takes up to two weeks. It is a paid service; we agree the fee after defining the question and scope. This is not an audit and no audit opinion is issued. Complex processes, large data volumes, and implementation are discussed as separate projects.
Working with Asar Consulting
Team composition, scope, and output are defined around the business priority.
How does express analysis differ from a free consultation?
A free consultation is an initial online call to discuss your question and agree a suitable next step. Express analysis is a separate paid service with an agreed review scope, an analytical report, and a findings meeting.
Is express analysis an audit?
No. We review an agreed work area and selected data to address a specific finance or management question. We do not issue an audit opinion.
Can we start without management reports?
Yes. We discuss the information available and agree what can be reviewed using accounting exports, documents, and employee explanations. The report states data limitations and questions requiring further information.
How long does the work take and what do we receive?
The work is online and takes up to two weeks. You receive an analytical report, identified issues, recommendations, an action plan, and a findings meeting. Instructions are included where needed. Implementation is agreed separately.
